The following terms and conditions apply to all book and catalogue orders which are processed by Cataloging by Columbus either online or by any other form of communication and form part of the contract between us.

Credit Card Security

For your security our site employs 128 bit SSL for all credit card transactions.

128 bit SSL (secure sockets layer - also known as https//) which is a technology used to secure form / data transmissions on the web. SSL works by a server exchanging a "key" with the customer before any data is transmitted. The data is then encrypted before it is sent and decrypted by the server at the other end.

Contrary to popular opinion, web site's that employ SSL offer you more protection than most offline merchants that accept credit cards.

Our aim is to process all orders within 48 hours from receipt of payment.

Upon completion of your order you will receive an email confirming your order details and date of despatch.

Unless otherwise instructed by you, we will use the most economic method of postage. Expected delivery times are specified on the “Shipping” page on this website. The times quoted are estimates and Cataloging by Columbus cannot guarantee that these time scales will be met in every case.

If your order is urgent please contact us and we can provide a guaranteed delivery service or airmail service at additional charge.

We accept Mastercard, Barclaycard and American Express, Paypal, Bank transfers or cheques in Euros payable in France. You will be advised of the final total of your invoice by email once postage and packing charges have been calculated. W If you are paying by Credit cad or Paypal we will only guarantee to hold your order for 72 hours after a final invoice has been issued. After that time items may be restocked and sold.
